On Monday 14th October, we will have our Members Night at Droitwich Camera Club at the Methodist Church.
The evening is dedicated to Photo Critique, where members have the opportunity to present their work and receive constructive feedback from peers.
It's an invaluable experience for both novice and more experience photographers to refine their skills, learn new techniques, and gain fresh perspectives on their photographs.
Our chairman, Nigel Reader, invite all members to participate and bring their prints and DPI to our Members Night.
‘Open’ Print Competition”
In other news, our members are invited to our next competition “Open”-Print which takes place on Monday 21 October.
PhotoEntry is open for your images. Closing date for entries is midnight on Sunday 13 October.
Bill Ward 'Shooting water Creatively'
Droitwich Camera Club had the privilege of welcoming speaker Bill Ward - multi award-winning British actor and photographer- in a special Live talk on Monday 7th October at the Methodist Church with his talk “Shooting Water”.
Bill invited us to explore the emotional connection we have with water. He encouraged finding beauty in our surroundings, try new ideas and trust our instincts.
For our next photography project, Bill suggested starting with two questions, “What else is around to be photographed?” and “What if you try something different?
Bill Ward’s talk left us inspired and eager to explore water photography with fresh eyes.
